Enrolled as an Advocate of Madras High Court in 1939 later joined Bezawada Bar in August 1939 and practiced at Vijaywada till his sudden demise. He is one of the few advocates who completed five decades of practice at the Bar. A very good sportsman at school and college played Football, Tennis and Badminton winning several medals. He was member of the University Training Course (UTC) the present day equivalent of NCC. Humanitarian to the core, he helped in the education of poor people without any publicity. The Bezwada Bar Association paid homage to him by installing his portrait in the Association hall, unveiled by the Chief Justice of Delhi High Court on 26th December, 1996.
